Drilling of BTES commenced in Zulte

We are currently drilling a BTES system with Geotechnix at De Vijf Wegen primary school in Zulte. BTES stands for Borehole Thermal Energy Storage.

Thanks to boreholes of 150 metres in depth, the school will be heated and cooled by geothermal energy. A series of vertical tubes in which the water is cooled or heated by the earth forms a veritable giant underground radiator.

A win-win for the energy bill and the climate.
