Construction of a care hotel, assisted living homes and underground car park

The current construction project is the 1st phase in the development of a new district bordered by the Opgeëistenlaan and the campus AZ St. Lucas in Ghent.
The current construction work comprises the construction of a care hotel with 66 rooms, 62 spacious assisted living homes and an underground car park for 101 cars on two levels. At the same time structural restoration work is carried on the listed “Villa Voortman” building and associated coach house. Prior to the construction work, the study and completion of the development work was coordinated by Wyckaert.
A construction team worked together with the building owner, designers and engineering offices from the design phase.
