CO₂ performance ladder
Within our sustainability policy, we attach great importance to being CO2-conscious and reducing our CO2 emissions. The CO₂-Performance ladder is an important tool in this regard. It allows us to map out and reduce our energy consumption and CO₂ emissions.
About the CO₂-Performance ladder
The CO₂-Performance ladder is an initiative of SKAO (Stichting Klimaatvriendelijk Aanbesteden & Ondernemen) and encourages companies to act (more) CO₂-consciously, both within their business operations, in projects and in the chain. The Performance Ladder is used as a carbon management system and procurement tool.
Below we further explain some of the components of the CO₂-Performance ladder. You can also find more info on how we reduce emissions on the CO2 Performance Ladder website.
We formulated the goals and measures we are taking to reduce our CO2 emissions in the Green House Gas (GHG) report below.
Every 6 months, it correctly and clearly charts energy flows, energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
The CO₂ footprint, pre-set targets and the extent to which they have been achieved are charted semi-annually in a progress report.
Wyckaert values transparency, even when it comes to our sustainability efforts. How we periodically communicate with our internal and external stakeholders can be found in our communication plan.
At Wyckaert, we believe in collaboration. Therefore, we regularly exchange our knowledge on energy reduction with our stakeholders.
You can find the initiatives for CO₂ reduction in which we participate in the initiative list.
